Let’s face it, a really good television can completely transform the way you watch movies, play video games and even keep up with the news, but not all companies get it right when it comes to creating a great viewing television. Samsung, however, has always been known for its innovative and industry-leading tech and so it is no surprise that their new Samsung 219 inch TV is making waves.
If you’re thinking of investing in this technology, it might be helpful for you to have a read through our list of questions and answers to help you to decide whether this is the right option for you. Just a heads up – what with everything that this company is offering in 219 inches of space, it likely will be.
Every company tends to make a big show of their most exciting products when they first introduce it to the market and Samsung was no different.
Back in 2018, an earlier version of this television was introduced to the world at CES and it was at this stage that the company started to take orders for the MicroLED television. At that stage, it was only 146-inches and it was considered to be huge – so you can imagine what happened when the 219-inch television was unveiled in 2019 at the same exhibit.
The Samsung 219 inch TV is called The Wall – and for good reason. The television is enormous, taking up a large amount of wall space, but more than that, the design is so sleek that it could be named the way it has been because it appears as though it sits flush against the wall itself.
According to a statement from the company, The Wall is manufactured from individual self-emissive Micro LEDs, which feature many inorganic blue, red and green microscopic LED chips.
These chips go on to emit light of their own and it is this combination of technology that allows the television to produce the type of color that it does.
This 219 inch screen is not only at the forefront of television technology, but it also offers viewers the option of personalizing their television by positioning the modular panels in such a way that it suits their size and shape requirements.
With such a large screen to accommodate, this is likely going to be an important feature, especially for those who want to ensure that they are getting the most out of their television, regardless of where they choose to position it.
If you’re not a fan of the enormous 219 inch television, there are a number of alternatives available, including the option to take advantage of what Samsung has called “The Window”.
This is the 75-inch alternative that was unveiled at the same expo, but doesn’t quite offer the same gravitas as its counterpart.
At the minute, Samsung have yet to announce the cost of this magnificent piece of audio-visual technology, but it is thought that it is going to come at a princely cost.
This is likely going to be worthwhile for anyone who wants to make sure that they have nothing but the best technology within their homes.
